…but it is always the same stone that’s missing… ad the odd stone circle… 😉

The Lost stone of Chat aka… the Robin Hood Stone aka… the Hud Stone… Don has various theories about this ‘fellow’ and quite how ‘he’ manages to be so elusive and of course we did mislay a mound over the course of the recent ‘Solstice Weekend’, however I have no recollection of ‘losing’ a stone circle, Uh Oh… I know the one you mean… Park Gate… except that was there, only covered by bracken… circles can become a little shy when the bracken is out…

What a wonderful place, and such stunning photography! I am always amazed at how these places hide in such plain view, and people constantly passing by have no idea… or don’t care. As for that elusive stone, and missing mound, I can think of a few places over here in Ireland like that! All will be revealed when the time is right, I guess…
