A glorious sunset glimpsed from the motorway. Would we be able to get ‘there’ before it faded? The most reliable ‘there’ is the halfway point to Arnside, via the A6 and hope… And there, at Sandside, we got the last of the sunset, mottled in red-golds and lilacs.
