Thursday Photo Prompt – Stepping Stones – #writephoto
—
One, two, three, the dream
In fun and seeking sun they came
Where two had been and deeper known
To newer one the stones of trust were shown
The river flows…the waters stream
Two, three, one, the flowing dream
A different journey is begun
As bold and blind, she leaves behind
Each stone upon the skins of gentle kind
Three, two, one, the flowing dream
The river flows…the waters stream
And now, they walk on different stone
Where one is three and three are one
Upon a path with wider tones
As starry children, just begun
The river flows… The waters dream
There are no rocks to break the stream
Of he, or she, or me
Three rivers flow as three as two as one
and meet the sea…

Brilliant! Reading this poem felt like freely flowing in an eddy of a mystifying river’s current. I was caught spinning and lost, yet moving along with the current all the same. Thanks for the ride!

Thank you, Nick. I tried to capture some of the water’s rhythm in the words, so it’s good to hear it worked!
